  • Well, I may have a little bit of a thing for making sure that the little things, the basics - you know, the ESSENTIALS - are addressed with my clients.

I have a passion for ensuring that the ESSENTIAL components of your healthcare are addressed, not just the physical ones. Consider that age-old old analogy about a house needing good foundations...well our body’s are no different.

First and foremost, I consider education as the key ESSENTIAL component of the process. If you don’t understand what’s going on in your body, well, it’s hard to get motivated to do anything about the necessary changes and the active role you need to play. Knowledge is power, and that also makes it a very useful piece of ARMOUR.

For optimal results, it’s ESSENTIAL that you be an active participant in your recovery. I absolutely love to empower my clients to feel like they have control in their wellness journey, and that means taking some time to find strategies that help you be able to self manage some of your symptoms and become more in tune with your body.

It’s also ESSENTIAL that we address any underlying or linked factors that might be impacting your recovery and performance. That might be other structures in your body, stress, diet, sleep, exercise or any of the other factors impacting your recovery, but it’s ESSENTIAL that we discuss their potential impact and connect you with the right resources and referrals.

I also have a passion for ESSENTIAL oils, gut health, diet and low-tox living and can help you integrate these as part of your treatment to optimise your recovery.

  • As for the ARMOURY, well the more tools that can be added to your tool box, the more ways you’ll be able to nourish, protect and nurture your body. Think of it like picking which ARMOUR you need to pop on each day to help you take on the challenges that life throws at you, physically, mentally and emotionally. Integrating all of these into your recovery will optimise your results.

The other little nod to the ARMOURY is my longstanding family and personal history with the Australian Defence Force. As a 28 year veteran of the Defence community, I have been through my fair share of postings, relocations, deployments and the inevitable challenges that come from living away from family. My lived experiences as an ex-serving member as well as being a spouse, daughter, sister, aunt and friend of serving members, has provided me with a deeply rich perspective of this lifestyle. A world that requires a completely different set of ARMOUR to be developed, not just survive, but to thrive.

When you bring it all together, there was only one name that was appropriate.

And so, The Essential Armoury was born.

  • Balancing the physical and mental aspects of health. Elevating your well-being to new heights.

WHY THE ESSENTIAL ARMOURY?

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
